Rose Clitoris Sucker by

I laughed when I first got the rose and thought it certainly was cute. It's super soft and fits in the palm of my hand...much like a stemless rose or a tennis ball. Honestly, I thought it would be bigger. With the nozzle held up to my cheek, I thought “This isn't going to do shit”. I also thought it would be more powerful. It's as gentle as it looks.

My second thought during playtime was “This tickles”. One of the best orgasms of my life started with laughter but it took 3:30 for the toy to have the last laugh. Coincidentally, “Persuasive” by SZA and Doechii began playing on Spotify and was the exact duration of my me-time. The rose is the quickie of sex toys. No dinner. No Foreplay. This toy can get you where you need to go on your lunch break! I like an occasional quickie. It's spontaneous and exciting. It's a mood. For my first suction toy, I was thoroughly impressed. Now I understand what the hype is all about.

The rose is a very targeted and intense toy. It is super direct but the silky silicone and shape make it so comfortable. I love that it's powerful but not painful. There is no potential post-use soreness that sometimes can happen with putting a plastic buzzy battery-operated vibrator on the clit.

It has one button but 10 toe-curling sucking frequencies to enjoy in or out of the shower. It was easy to switch between sucking frequencies while not having to move the toy or wonder what button I was pressing. It uses air pulsation technology; rotating airflow generated by the internal vibration to to mimic oral sex. Therefore, calling it a “suction toy” is a bit inaccurate, though the small opening is fit to cup the erogenous like the rose is giving your clit or nipple a kiss.

I tried the rose on my nipple and my first thought was again: ” This tickles”. However, that's where the laughter started and stopped. The rose wasn't strong enough for me in that area, despite the frequencies, to continue my attempt at pleasure. Keep in mind that everyone has different nipple sensitivities and this may be a homerun for somebody else's body.

And if you're wondering...

Yes, I have roommates. Yes, the toy is very quiet. Now all you have to do is be quiet as well.

If not sealed against the body, the toy does make noise but it's not loud by any means. While the rose makes a more rumbly sound and my electric toothbrush is more buzzy, my electric toothbrush is way louder. The rose noise can be muffled greatly behind a closed door, under the blankets, or even drowned out by Netflix in the background.

Even something with as lavish of an aesthetic as the rose has some flaws. It has a small opening making direct contact with your clitorus crucial for maximum pleasure. The difference between “right there” and “almost there” is evident and positioning it can take some practice. The part facing the body is flat, so if you have a prominent labia, it may take moving things around to find the sweet spot. Although I have to say, “almost there” still feels really great. Considering it is a handheld toy, someone who has problems gripping things may find this toy challenging to use

It skips the warm-up and can get really intense, really fast. I can see this being overstimulating for some people. All bodies are different but even on the lowest setting it took me three days to get used to it. It feels weird without lubrication of some sort; either from a bottle or body.

It is not for people who enjoy broader stimulation, lots of movement, or want their whole vulva stimulated.  It does skip the build-up traditionally leading to orgasm so if you're not in a time crunch or just enjoy the journey of self-pleasure or pleasure with a partner, this may not be the first toy you want to reach for. The party will be over quickly!

Lastly, it's not pink. I need this in pink. Pink roses exist. Pink is my favorite color.

Overall the rose is my new favorite toy. It's great for nipple and clitoral stimulation. It comes with a magnetic USB charger, blinks while it's charging, and takes only 1.5 hours to charge for 2 hours of use. It's small and great for travel. Its beautiful exterior mirrors common decor, making it incredibly subtle. No more mini panic attacks if accidentally left out on the nightstand.

I recommend this to people who want their soul sucked out of their body by something cute, efficient and will be thinking about you as much as you'll be thinking about it. The rose is a game changer for the busybody who needs to take the edge off in between tasks. It could also be useful to people who have a hard time cumming or have less sensitive clits. It's definitely for those who like delicate but delightful direct stimulation (or just like getting head).
